Job summary

Vision for Education are recruiting for 4 x Behaviour Support Assistant roles at a SEN school just outside Lymington, starting ASAP. The position is full-time with a salary of £14.24 - £14.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.

You will work with pupils aged 4-11 with SEMH and related needs, in small classes or 1-1, supporting their access to learning and emotional regulation, with safeguarding checks and DBS.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 certs in teaching support or Early Years required.
• Driving licence preferred or required.
• Experience with SEND/SEMH or challenging behaviour advantageous.
• Strong behaviour management to de-escalate threats or aggression.
• Mentor and engage pupils with designed educational packages.
• Be resilient, empathetic and patient.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH in small groups or 1-1 to access learning.
• Build relationships and mentor pupils with tailored educational packages.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to re-engage pupils in learning.
• Create engaging, safe learning environments for pupils aged 4-11.
