Aspire People is recruiting a SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in a Wednesbury school. The role focuses on enabling access to learning, building confidence and encouraging successful participation in class activities.

We value patience, empathy and strong communication, with qualifications like Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant desirable but not essential. Training and development are offered within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Candidates show patience, empathy and clear communication with pupils.
• Experience with children in a school setting is preferred.
• Qualifications such as Level 2/3 TA are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Help manage behaviour in a positive, consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.
