Job summary

Aspire People Limited is hiring a SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in Wednesbury. The role focuses on helping the pupil access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment in a SEND provision setting.

Previous experience with children and SEN is desirable, along with Level 2/3 TA qualifications, though not essential. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals, with ongoing training and a chance to make a real

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
• Understanding of SEN or additional needs.
• Patience, empathy and excellent communication skills.
• Positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Help manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals.
