Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd in Rotherham is recruiting Semi-Skilled Stone Operatives for a busy production site. You will work in a stone fabrication environment, using stone saws, edge banding, polishing and machining to finish granite or quartz jobs.

The role requires practical, hands-on workers who are reliable, safety-conscious and able to follow specifications in a fast-paced setting. Full-time hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 7:00am-4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Previous stone experience or manufacturing background.
• Able to operate relevant stone fabrication machinery.
• Must be practical, reliable and safety-conscious.
• Capable of following instructions in a fast-paced production area.

Responsibilities

• Operate stone fabrication machinery (saws, polishing, edge banding).
• Contribute to cutting and finishing stone for granite/quartz products.
• Follow specifications and safety procedures in daily tasks.

Location: Rotherham, S65

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm | Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.80-£16.00ph - dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Semi-Skilled Stone Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Rotherham.

Candidates must have previous experience working with stone, granite or quartz, especially experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Stone saws
• Edge banding
• Polishing
• Stone machining
• Cutting and finishing stone
• Working with granite and quartz
• General stone fabrication and processing

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with stone or within a manufacturing environment and will be confident using relevant machinery and equipment.

We are looking for candidates who are:
