Pennine Recruitment is recruiting 2 x Semi skilled Machine Operatives for a client in Normanton. The roles involve operating and setting machinery, end-to-end supervision, inspection and testing of products, troubleshooting, and maintaining safety standards.

Pennine Recruitment (acting as a Recruitment Business) are delighted to be recruiting 2 x Semi skilled Machine Operatives on a temporary to permanent, full-time basis for our prestigious client based in Normanton (West Yorkshire)

Our client based in Normanton manufacture parts for some of the most premier automotive companies in the world including Aston Martin, McLaren, and INEOS, this is a great opportunity to forge a career with a market leading company.

The Role

• Operating and setting specific machinery (full comprehensive training provided)
• End-to-end machine supervision
• Inspection & Quality control
• Testing product
• Troubleshooting & communicating effectively with supervisors around any manufacturing issues.
• Adhering at all times to recognised safe working practices.

The person

• Ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment previously (all manufacturing environments considered)
• Can demonstrate long term commitment to previous roles
• Positive attitude
• Commitment to excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Analytical and process driven
• Ability to work with the minimum of direction and supervision whilst keeping themselves and their colleagues safe.

Hours of work (3 week rotation - 1 week of each)

• 05:45 - 13:45 (Days)
• 13:45 - 21:45 (Afters)
• 21:45 - 05:45 (Nights)

Salary starting from £13.47 per hour
