Qualifications

• Experience working within an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Good knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Experience with cloud software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Budleigh Salterton. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a varied portfolio of clients including owner-managed businesses, sole traders and limited companies.

You will be responsible for preparing accounts, assisting with tax compliance and supporting clients with their financial reporting requirements. This position would suit someone with experience in practice who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and client-focused firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

• Preparation and submission of VAT returns

• Assisting with personal and corporation tax returns
