• Ability to work to deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• Proactive and commercially aware mindset.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients across sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Preparation and review of statutory accounts in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Completion and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Preparation and review of VAT returns and management accounts.
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Supporting clients with day-time financial and business queries.
• Reviewing and supporting the work of junior team members, providing guidance and training where needed.
• Assisting partners with advisory work, business planning, and ad hoc projects.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accounting, and tax requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients.
