Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions Ltd in the Blackpool area is seeking an ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to support directors and deliver hands-on client exposure. You will manage accounts prep for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, with funded study support and a clear path toward Senior Accountant level.

The role offers modern workflows, mentorship, and a collaborative team culture designed to help you progress while building broad experience in a progressive practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years UK accountancy practice experience.
• Part-qualified AAT, ACCA, or ACA or actively studying towards qualification.
• Experience with VAT returns, CIS returns, corporation tax, and payroll basics.
• Proficient in modern bookkeeping software and cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts and statutory financial statements for multiple client types.
• Own accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Support tax computations and basic payroll tasks as part of the team.
• Utilise cloud accounting tools and MS Excel for accurate reporting.
