Semi-Senior Accountant | Modern Chartered Accountants | Rotherham |

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns for a wide variety of exciting clients
• Producing full year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Performing accurate bank and VAT reconciliations with strong attention to detail
• Preparing corporation tax computations and CT600s to a high standard
• Working closely with a friendly, skilled team including personal accountants and administrative assistants
• Using cloud-based software including Iris, FreeAgent, QuickBooks, and Xero to deliver top-tier service efficiently

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid practice experience in a similar role
• Confidence in preparing accounts and VAT returns independently
• Familiarity with multiple software platforms and a willingness to adapt to new tech
• A collaborative mindset—you enjoy supporting colleagues and clients alike
• Ideally working towards (or already holding) AAT/ACCA qualifications with 3+ year experience in a Chartered Practice
