Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is supporting a well-established accountancy practice in Liphook to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant. You will work on year-end accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and tax work across a varied client portfolio with scope to gain audit exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing year-end accounts within an accountancy practice.
• Experience with bookkeeping, VAT and tax work is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare corporation tax returns and assist with other tax work.
• Complete bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Support clients with day-to-day accounting queries.
• Get involved with audit assignments if desired.
• Take on more responsibility as your experience develops.

Hybrid Working - Mixed Role - Study Support Available (optional)

We're working with a well established accountancy practice based in Liphook, who are recruiting due to growth and expansion.

In this role, you’ll be preparing year-end accounts alongside a varied mix of bookkeeping, VAT and tax work for a portfolio of clients, with the option to gain audit experience if this interests you.

The Role

Working with a varied portfolio of clients, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

About You
