Forge Talent is partnering with a leading accountancy firm based in North Manchester to recruit a talented and driven Semi Senior Accountant. In this position, you’ll also work closely with the firm's portfolio management team, contributing to the effective oversight and development of long-standing client relationships. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review year-end accounts and tax returns for a range of clients, including individuals and businesses.
• Ensure accurate records and timely submissions to HMRC and Companies House.
• Stay informed on updates to tax and accounting regulations, applying them effectively.
• Provide practical tax and business advice to help clients improve efficiency and safeguard assets.
• Support clients with business transactions, restructuring, and financial decision making.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless client service.
• Assist in mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and development support.
• Get involved in business development activities, including networking and identifying new opportunities.
• Look for ways to improve client experience and refine internal processes.

Experience:

• Part-Qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent), with a solid grounding in accountancy practice.
• Experience managing accounts within a professional services firm.
• Strong working knowledge of UK compliance standards and accounting frameworks.
• Confident communicator, capable of building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Comfortable working with accountancy software, tax platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Highly organised and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
