Job summary

Integra Education North is seeking passionate Maths, English and Science tutors across Wigan and nearby areas to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred. The role offers flexible hours from 1 to 25 per week, competitive £28–£30 per hour, and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant to help you plan personalised lessons for each learner, including SEN/SEMH needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English and/or Science.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs.
• Good understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Ability to adapt teaching approach to engage learners.
• Previous teaching, tutoring or classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Focused 1:1 support delivered face-to-face outside of a traditional classroom.
• Plan and adapt lessons around each pupil’s learning style and needs.
• Flexibly manage sessions to fit 1–25 hours per week.
• Build relationships and monitor progress with pupils and carers.
• Support pupils in Wigan and nearby areas with personalised education.
