The role involves providing classroom support to pupils with SEMH needs, building positive relationships, and assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour management in small groups or 1:1 settings.

The position offers an opportunity for a temp-to-perm pathway, within a nurturing and supportive environment with planning and collaboration across staff and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to pupils with SEMH needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Encourage engagement with learning activities and tasks.
• Support pupils during breaks and lunchtimes.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals.
• Promote safeguarding and wellbeing.
