Job summary

Prospero Teaching is working with a small specialist setting in Preston (PR2) to recruit several Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 11 to 18 who require tailored education and consistent, focused support. The role is full-time, temporary until July 2027, starting immediately.

Candidates should have a 2:2 or higher degree or relevant TA experience in a UK school, up-to-date safeguarding training, and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with 2:2 degree or higher or experience as a TA in a similar setting.
• Previous experience in a UK school.
• Safeguarding training completed within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 11–18 in a small specialist setting.
• Help deliver tailored education and build respectful relationships.
• Assist with behavioural and safeguarding expectations.
