Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a small specialist setting in Preston for a long-term, non-teaching cover role. The position runs from November 2026 to July 2027, with a full-time schedule from 8:30am to 4pm.

The successful candidate will support learners aged 11–18 who engage with tailored education. A recent graduate or TA with safeguarding training is preferred, and Right to Work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or experienced TA in a similar setting.
• Experience working with young people in a vocational/coaching capacity.
• Previous UK school experience preferred.
• Up to date safeguarding training within the last year.
