Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants near Towcester for schools working with 11-16 year olds. The role is ongoing full-time term time only, with daily pay of 90-100 GBP. A vehicle is required to access the site.

You will support students in and out of class, assist teachers, and help implement learning and behaviour plans. The ideal candidate has experience with SEMH/SEN, calm approach, and good communication. Aspire People offers a supportive team and flexible contract options.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in SEMH or SEN settings.
• Calm, compassionate and consistent behaviour management.
• Strong communication and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 or in small groups inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist the class teacher with delivery and behaviour management.
• Build positive relationships to help engagement in learning.
• Help implement personalised learning and behaviour plans.
• Collaborate with school team to promote positive outcomes.
