About the Role

The jobs we have are dependent on the needs of each school and can be on a full or part-time basis. Working as a supply SEMH Teaching Assistant suits those who have a passion for working within a school and can be flexible and adaptable, due to the diversity of the schools we work with.

We are currently looking for TAs who have a desire to work with children, whether within a full classroom, small groups to improve core skills like reading, or providing 1:1 care for children with SEN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
  • Assist in developing and implementing personalized learning strategies
  • Support students in managing emotions and social interactions
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reports
About You
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs (preferred but not essential)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for education and supporting young people
  • Ability to adapt and respond to challenging situations positively
