Qualiteach Education Group in London is seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor for a Southwark-based SEMH school. The role is full-time, immediate start, and pays £100-£120 per day depending on experience.

The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor
Seeking a resilient and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils regulate their emotions, improve behaviour and re-engage with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, promoting emotional wellbeing and acting as a positive role model to encourage confidence, resilience and independence.
