Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a specialist provision in Ashington. You will support young people with social, emotional and mental health needs 1:1, help regulate emotions and promote positive behaviour to boost learning engagement.

In this role you will build strong relationships with pupils and staff, assist with attendance and achievement, and work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a supportive learning environment.

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant for a specialist provision in Ashington.

Location: Ashington
Contract: Full-Time

About the Role

The provision supports pupils who may have struggled within mainstream education due to emotional, behavioural or mental health challenges.

You will work closely with students to build positive relationships, encourage engagement and support them in overcoming barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
