Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting caring and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants to join SEN schools across Newark, working on a long-term or short-term basis, starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs to reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Calm, patient and empathetic approach to challenging situations.
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of teachers and support teams.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
