Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in Dover and surrounding areas. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with ongoing start dates and regular weekly pay.

You'll work alongside qualified teachers to help students overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and resilience, and engage in learning activities inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• Full right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• A new DBS costs £62, which we'll reimburse after you've completed 20 days of work with us.

Location: Dover and surrounding areas (Deal, Sandwich, Walmer & East Kent)

Salary: £93.00 - £100.00 per day (Weekly Pay, Pension & Free CPD)

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with specialist SEMH schools and alternative provisions across Dover and the surrounding areas. We are looking for caring, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs on both a full-time and part-time basis. The Role

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help pupils who may experience emotional, behavioural or mental health challenges. You will support students with a range of additional needs, including:

• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Attachment and Trauma-related needs
• Anxiety and Emotional Regulation difficulties
• Challenging Behaviour
