Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking enthusiastic SEMH and Alternative Provision Teaching Assistants to join our team in Chigwell.

You will support pupils aged 8-16 with additional needs in SEMH, ADHD, ASD and challenging behaviours, helping them engage with learning and develop social skills. No formal experience is required as full training will be provided; a genuine interest in helping young people and strong communication skills are essential.

SEMH & Alternative Provision Teaching Assistants Needed - Chigwell. Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?

We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in SEMH schools and Alternative Provision settings across Chigwell. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 8-16 with additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), ADHD, PTSD, ASD and challenging behaviours.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting pupils with additional needs in their learning and personal development
• Working closely with class teachers to create engaging and interactive activities
• Helping children develop social skills and positive relationships
• Maintaining a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment
• Making a genuine difference to young people's lives every day

What we're looking for:

• A genuine interest in supporting young people, especially those with mental health needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy and resilience
• Previous experience is a bonus - but not essential as full training will be given

The role:

• Pay: from 105 per day and upwards depending on experience
• Start: ASAP and Temp to Perm options
• Location: Chigwell
