Social Emotional and Mental Health needs Assistant – Blandford Forum

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have the skills and dedication to support their learning and development? If so, we want you to join our fantastic team, located in the heart of Blandford Forum!

Position: Full-Time

The school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where our students can thrive. We cater for children aged 7 - 19 years old with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH and ASD. Our dedicated staff work closely with each student to support their unique journey towards independence and learning success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning experiences
• Assist students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers
