Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a DBS on the Update Service? Looking for an exciting new opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives? Prospero Teaching is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants in New Milton.

This specialist setting caters to children and young people, years 7 to 11, who find mainstream education difficult. The school prides itself on recognizing the barriers to education faced by its students.

Location – New Milton, Hampshire
Position – SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) TA
Start date – ASAP
Duration – Ongoing
Contract type – Temp/Perm
Full time/Part time – Full time
Minimum rate of pay – From GBP

Experience, training, and qualifications:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable but not mandatory)
  • Minimum 1 year working with children with SEN needs
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
