Job summary

Milk Education is seeking an SEMH Teacher to work across specialist provisions in Bradford from September 2026. You will deliver engaging, personalised lessons to pupils with SEMH needs and build positive relationships to support engagement and wellbeing.

Long-term placements with permanent opportunities, competitive daily rates, ongoing CPD in behaviour, trauma-informed practice and SEND, plus dedicated consultant support to help you succeed in challenging settings.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience with SEMH or challenging behaviour desirable.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to pupils with SEMH needs.
• Build positive relationships to encourage engagement.
• Implement behaviour support and restorative approaches.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual academic and emotional needs.
• Monitor progress and contribute to personalised learning plans.
• Collaborate with pastoral teams and SENCOs.
