Essential Requirements

To be considered for this SEMH Teacher role in Erdington, you must have:



  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs

  • Experience managing challenging behaviour in an educational, youth work, alternative provision, or residential setting

  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

  • The right to work in the UK

  • A genuine commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable learners
