Monarch Education is recruiting for a rewarding SEMH Teacher role in Erdington, Birmingham. The post focuses on supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, requiring consistency, patience, and strong relationship-building skills to help students engage academically and personally.

Open to both qualified and unqualified teachers with SEMH experience. It is a full-time, long-term opportunity with access to CPD, smaller class sizes, and supportive leadership to help pupils progress

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
• Experience managing challenging behaviour in educational or youth settings.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK and safeguarding commitment.
• Formal teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
