Job summary

Master Class Education is seeking an experienced SEMH Teacher to work with pupils in SEMH settings across diverse environments. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons while building strong relationships with learners facing emotional and behavioural challenges.

The role focuses on creating a calm, structured learning environment and supporting pupils to re-engage with education, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes. QTS or equivalent qualification is essential.

Qualifications

Make a real difference as an SEMH Teacher

Are you an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge, or a teacher who would like to make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people?

We are looking for passionate and resilient Teachers to work across SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) settings, supporting pupils who may have experienced challenges with their education, behaviour, emotional wellbeing or personal circumstances.

SEMH teaching is about much more than delivering lessons. It is about building relationships, providing consistency and helping young people to re-engage with education and believe in their own potential.

We welcome teachers with a range of experience

• SEMH, PRU or alternative provision settings.
• Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Mainstream secondary or primary education.
• Behaviour support or pastoral roles.
• Residential or youth settings.
• Other environments supporting vulnerable children and young people.
