Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEMH Teacher in High Wycombe. The role focuses on re-engaging pupils who have lost confidence in education, with a supportive approach and clear expectations.

The successful candidate will plan engaging lessons for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, adapt learning to gaps, establish routines and work with support staff to help pupils regulate and participate. Appointment subject to safeguarding checks and enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience in SEMH, alternative provision, a PRU, or supporting vulnerable learners is advantageous.

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Pay: 160- 260 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities
Hours: Full-time, term time

• Working with support staff to help pupils regulate and participate.

You'll need QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience in SEMH, alternative provision, a PRU or supporting vulnerable learners in mainstream education would be relevant.

This SEMH Teacher role pays 160- 260 per day.
