Job summary

Axcis Education in Birmingham is seeking SEMH TA roles to support pupils between KS2 and KS4. The positions are full-time or part-time, with a view to long-term placement starting ASAP. DBS checks and safeguarding duties are required; prior SEND experience is essential, though school-based experience is not strictly mandatory.

Successful applicants will provide dedicated 1-1 support, manage behaviours, and work within a well-respected special school setting. PAY is dependent on experience.

Job description

SEMH TA - Full Time and Part Time Available Axcis are looking for multiple teaching assistants at a well respected special school in B12 who are looking for a 1-1 support for pupils between KS2-4.

The key objective for the school is to promote positive changes in children's lives through providing experiences that promote both the personal development and academic progress of the pupils.

The school are looking for enthusiastic people with experience in the following SEND.

• ADHD
• SEMH(Social Emotional Mental Health)
• Challenging behaviour

All roles are full time, long term with a view to start ASAP.

Previous experience working in a school is not essential, however experience working with SEND is essential.

Working hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm INDMID

This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
