Pay: £95 £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full-time, long-term

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist provision in Liverpool, working with pupils who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people who need encouragement, structure, and consistent support.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting students with SEMH needs both inside and outside the classroom
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help regulate behaviour and encourage engagement
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering a tailored, inclusive curriculum
  • Promoting a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment
  • Encouraging emotional development, resilience, and personal growth
