Polaris Education - The Olive Frances School in Banbury is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support one pupil or a small group, under the guidance of a classroom teacher. The role is full-time term-time only with responsibilities across lesson support, progress reporting, and supervision during non-classroom times.

Applicants should have a solid GCSE/A-level background, be able to work with pupils with SEMH, and be prepared for DBS disclosure.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C or equivalent.
• Solid educational background with a-levels or equivalent.
• Sound IT skills and basic digital literacy.

Responsabilités

• Dedicated to mentoring and supporting one pupil or a small group (up to six).
• Support the classroom teacher during lessons and report on pupil progress.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including trips and lunch breaks.
• Assist with lesson planning, preparation, setting work, and marking.
• Build positive relationships to drive learning outcomes.
