Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Build consistent, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Help pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged in learning.
  • Support individual behaviour and learning plans.
  • Reinforce consistent boundaries and positive behaviour.
  • Identify triggers and share observations with teaching/SEN staff.
  • Support pupils academically while considering emotional barriers to learning.
