Job Opportunity: Special Needs Teacher

We are working closely with a lovely special school in the Newbury area, seeking a teacher to join after the Easter holidays. The school caters to students with various special needs and disabilities, primarily focusing on SEMH and ASD students aged 4-13.

The school prides itself on its supportive environment and the important, rewarding work its staff do. Current permanent TA staff speak highly of the support they receive and the positive staff culture.

The Role

This position involves working with a Year 4 class of 8 SEMH students. You will be supported by two permanent TA's who are familiar with the students. The role offers flexibility: you can choose to lead the class or take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking.

Applicants must have experience working with SEMH students, confidence in managing challenging behavior, and preferably hold a QTS. The school welcomes a range of applications.
