Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs?
Do you believe every child deserves a champion, no matter the challenges they face?

We are seeking exceptional and resilient teachers to join our dedicated team at School Name , a specialist setting for children and young people aged 5-16 with a wide range of needs, including:

  • BESD (Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties)
  • EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plans)
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
  • Neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, OCD, etc.)
  • PRU experience (Pupil Referral Unit)
  • Mental Health (Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, etc.)

As a teacher in our school, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference. We work with small class sizes, offering a therapeutic, nurturing, and highly personalised curriculum designed to meet individual needs.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver creative, flexible, and differentiated lessons across the curriculum.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support emotional regulation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including LSAs, therapists, and external professionals.
  • Support pupils with personalised learning plans linked to their EHCPs.
  • Create a safe, predictable, and positive environment where pupils can thrive.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Are qualified (QTS/QTLS or equivalent - ECTs are welcome).
  • Have experience working with pupils with SEMH, PRU, or neurodiverse needs (desirable but not essential - training provided).
  • Are resilient, empathetic, and committed to trauma-informed, therapeutic approaches.
  • Can adapt quickly and think creatively to support a diverse range of needs.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and external agencies.
