Job Description
SEMH Practitioners | 7923 | permanent contracts | 37 hours per week, term time plus one week per year | £33,366 to £35,235 per annum pro rata | Grade H | Countywide
We are seeking to recruit Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Practitioners in our SEND and Inclusion Service, as part of Educational Psychology and Specialist Support (EPSS).
You will join a team contributing to the delivery of Children’s Services' new SEND and Inclusion model, supporting the Local First inclusion (LFI) Strategy, core statutory duties (e.g., contributing to Annual Reviews of EHC Plans), and supporting Norfolk’s SRBs and SHIPs.
You will have relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience working successfully with children, families, and school staff. The team works across primary and secondary phases; a willingness to work across all age ranges is preferable.
You will need to be resilient, flexible, and confident. Your activities will involve direct work in schools and remote working from home, supported by a strong team based across Norfolk.
