Job summary

TimePlan Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support pupils aged 11-18 with SEMH at a specialist school in Enfield. You will work 1:1, in small groups, and in classrooms to help pupils access learning and develop confidence.

We are seeking patient, resilient candidates capable of building strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and safeguarding responsibilities. Experience with SEMH, SEND, PRUs or similar is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or similar needs.
• Able to adapt approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, small-group and classroom support to SEMH pupils.
• Help pupils engage with lessons and complete activities.
• Support literacy, numeracy and academic interventions.
• Assist with emotional regulation and returning to learning after dysregulation.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and work with teachers.
