Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is recruiting an Education Support Assistant to back students with SEMH needs. The role is term-time, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am–3.00pm, delivering targeted interventions and supporting learning under supervision.

You will help develop emotional literacy and social skills, with full training provided. A safeguarding DBS check is required as part of safer recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs, enabling access to learning.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach.
• Willingness to undertake ELSA training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support students under the SENCO and classroom teacher to access learning.
• Deliver learning activities and interventions, including group and 1:1 sessions.
• Deliver SEMH and emotional wellbeing guidance as part of a wider team.
