Job summary

The Education Network is seeking an experienced SEMH teacher to lead a small provision of up to 10 students with SEMH needs. You will use a dedicated TA team to manage behaviours, plan differentiated lessons, and help students return to mainstream education.

Reporting to senior leaders, you will promote a calm, supportive learning environment and drive teaching and learning to deliver positive outcomes for pupils across sites in the West Midlands.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS and be confident delivering across the curriculum.
• Experience leading a small TA team to manage behaviour.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for SEMH students.

Responsibilities

• Teach a mixed Key Stage 4 class of students who have been temporarily excluded.
• Deliver differentiated lessons that engage and inspire students.
• Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Collaborate with a support team and senior leaders across sites.
• Maintain a calm, safe, and consistent learning environment.
• Lead teaching and learning strategies to ensure a nurturing environment.
