Job summary

Kingsway Park High School in Rochdale is seeking an experienced SEMH Inclusion Practitioner to join Seacole, our Personalised Pathways Provision, to support students with SEMH needs.

You will build trusting relationships, deliver targeted SEMH interventions, respond to challenging behaviour with de-escalation, and support reintegration into mainstream lessons. We value resilience, compassion and professional judgement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of supporting young people with significant SEMH needs and behaviours that challenge.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with students needing personalised SEMH support.
• Deliver and adapt targeted SEMH interventions to develop emotional regulation and resilience.
• Respond confidently to challenging behaviour with de-escalation and relational approaches.
• Support individual and small-group learning, adapting activities to needs.
• Contribute to reintegration plans and progress towards mainstream lessons.
