Job summary

TeacherActive is hiring an SEMH Humanities Teacher for a specialist school in Wolverhampton. This long-term role involves delivering engaging lessons to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, aimed at creating a supportive and respectful classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS with a Humanities specialism, have experience in Key Stage 3 and 4, and a passion for supporting young people. Benefits include market-leading pay and a dedicated support team.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Humanities specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Experience supporting students with SEMH, challenging behaviour or within an alternative provision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Humanities lessons to students with SEMH needs.
• Create a calm, supportive classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and academic progress.
