Job summary

JobsinED is recruiting a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEMH provision in Morden. You will support KS3/KS4 pupils in small groups and individually, focusing on emotional regulation and learning engagement.

The role offers hands-on exposure to Educational Psychology, CAMHS, and Speech and Language Therapy, with specialist training around behaviour and wellbeing. Immediate start for a long-term contract.

Qualifications

• Graduated in Psychology with a strong academic record; a 2:1 or first is preferred.
• Experience mentoring, youth work, SEN, SEMH, tutoring or behaviour support is advantageous.
• Ability to build rapport with pupils and maintain clear boundaries with behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually and in small groups across KS3 and KS4 lessons.
• Help pupils develop emotional regulation and positive learning behaviours.
• Deliver targeted academic and pastoral interventions linked to individual learning plans.
• Liaise with teachers and pastoral staff to monitor progress and wellbeing.
