Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is recruiting a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work with KS3 and KS4 students in a mainstream secondary school in Swindon. You will support pupils at risk of exclusion, helping with daily routines and developing strategies to manage behaviour.

Experience with challenging behaviour, SEN and SEMH is advantageous. It is a temporary position with immediate start, working 8.30-3.30, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in educational or care settings is advantageous.
• Training or experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour would be an advantage.
• You must be suitably qualified and prepared to attend a face to face interview.

Responsibilities

• Support KS3/KS4 students in a mainstream secondary school in Swindon.
• Assist students at risk of exclusion with daily school routines and behaviour strategies.
• Develop strategies enabling students to manage their behaviour.
• Support the school routine and contribute to a safe learning environment.
