A prominent educational support provider in Birmingham seeks a calm and resilient SEMH Behaviour Mentor for secondary school students. The role involves providing essential support to young people facing behavioural challenges. You will work one-on-one and in small groups, helping students regulate their emotions and make positive choices. Strong interpersonal skills and experience with SEMH needs are crucial. This is a full-time, temporary position with potential for permanence.
Location: Birmingham B23
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am–3:30pm

We’re looking for a SEMH Behaviour Mentor to support students in a Secondary SEMH setting in Birmingham. This role is about understanding the reasons behind behaviour, building strong relationships, and helping young people develop the skills they need to regulate emotions, make positive choices, and engage with learning.
This is a role for someone who is calm, patient, and resilient — someone who can show up every day and be a reliable adult for students who need it most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
