London Borough of Bexley is seeking a full-time Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Advisory Teacher to join the Early Intervention Team. The role focuses on early intervention, providing advice to schools, parents and professionals regarding social, emotional and behavioural needs to prevent escalation.

Formación

• Qualified teacher with significant behaviour management experience.
• Experience across compulsory school age is required.
• DBS enhanced disclosure is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide early intervention support and guidance to schools, parents and other professionals regarding children with social, emotional, or behaviour difficulties to prevent high threshold services.
• Advise and train schools and teaching staff in behaviour strategies for groups of children.
• Assess needs and plan and deliver programmes of support and interventions for individuals and groups to re-establish engagement with education and improve attendance, progress and attainment.
• Contribute to the delivery of the Experts at Hand Offer.
