EU authorities continue to introduce new legislations that make it challenging for Selling Partners to comply and do business across Europe. Our team has covered VAT and product compliance regulations, and as of today we add Sustainability into our journey. This change in Sustainability landscape requires Amazon to take the forefront on Selling Partners’ compliance, starting with educating them on its requirements in Europe through enabling them to pick the right solution and, ultimately, taking action in the case of non-compliance.

The person in this role will support Amazon Selling Partners on their journey to grow their businesses and sell across Europe, meeting all their sustainable compliance needs.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9AM to 17PM. Presence at the office is required 5 days a week.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Demonstrates effective, clear and professional written and oral communication.
  2. Provides prompt and efficient service to Amazon Selling Partners including the appropriate escalation of Sellers’ issues.
  3. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor always portraying the company in a positive light and effectively managing sensitive issues.
  4. Demonstrates excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using departmental resources, policies and procedures.
  5. Contributes to a positive team environment and proactively aids team members with difficult contacts as needed.
  6. Maintains acceptable performance metrics such as quality, productivity, first contact resolution, and attendance.
  7. Actively seeks solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation skills and identifies trends to appropriate channel including improvement suggestions.
  8. Liaise with other departments such as Customer Service, Merchant Investigations, or Payments teams as required to resolve Selling Partner’s issues and questions.
A day in the life

Your day will progress driving seller engagement to help selling partners identify their compliance needs and guiding them through new & existing legislative requirements to ensure friction free selling on Amazon platforms. You will speak with Sellers in different countries via phone and email and use various internal tools. You will also work with various internal teams to support new projects and launches, capture feedback and suggest process improvements to continue raising the bar in seller experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Proficiency (C1 level) in English and German.
  2. Previous working experience within a customer service/contact center environment.
  3. Computers & Internet skills, specifically in MS Office Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Other EU languages such as Italian, German or Spanish would be an advantage.
  2. Business acumen in areas of Global e-commerce and retail.
  3. Good data analysis skill.
  4. Effective communication, composure, and professional attitude.
  5. Process improvement awareness and experience.
  6. Strong prioritization and time management skills, with a high degree of flexibility. Ability to embrace constant change with flexibility and good attitude.
