J Seven Media is a boutique advertising and media buying agency based in Wales. We have been established for over 9 years and work with both public and private sector organisations nationwide in planning both local and national campaigns.

We have established a very strong reputation in the industry with excellent client retention as we always act with integrity and have strong ethical standards.

We specialise in media planning and buying (across all media platforms), PR, creative design, copywriting, production (audio/video), and photography — but our services don’t stop there. We also provide brand design and identity, web design, signage, graphics, and promotional material to bring everything full circle.

In 2022, we launched a sports sponsorship division, with contacts in areas such as F1, eSports, rugby, golf, football, and more.

The Position

This is a full-time remote role for a Self-Employed Media Sales Executive at J Seven Media. Key responsibilities include new client outreach, business development, sales, and lead generation. We are looking for a new business hunter with a proven track record of closing sales and building strong, positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in the media and advertising industry and a genuine passion for advertising and marketing. A consultative and ethical approach is very important to us.

The Media Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, taking campaign briefs, establishing budgets, and managing records within our CRM system. We will provide slick proposal templates, art direction, production, campaign planning and fulfilment, post-campaign reporting, finance, and everything in between.

Your Experience

  • Media sales and consultative sales skills
  • Strong new business closer
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely — a self-starter
  • Experience in the advertising or media industry (essential)
  • CRM software experience preferred (HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, or similar)
  • Must have access to own car, phone and laptop - company Apple equipment provided after probationary period
