Job summary

A flooring company in England is seeking an enthusiastic skilled flooring contractor due to increasing workload and new clients. The ideal candidate should be experienced in installing both sheet vinyl and Luxury Vinyl products like Karndean & Amtico. Responsibilities include liaising with clients professionally and ensuring the highest quality standards of work. Must have own tools and a van for commuting. This role offers the opportunity to work as an independent contractor and take full responsibility for service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing sheet vinyl with cap and coved skirting detail.
• Experience in installing Luxury Vinyl products such as Karndean & Amtico.
• Ability to level existing sub floor with a water base/latex screed compound.
• Must have own tools including a welding gun, hand and power tools.
• A valid driving license and own van are required.

Candidate should know how to liaise with client’s onsite and carry themselves in a professional manner, have good work ethic and common sense.

ContractFlooring.com will act as an agent for independent self-employed floor covering installers and can arrange for your order to be fitted where applicable. The fitting work will be carried out under a separate contract between you and the customers and you must take full responsibility for the quality of your work and service. All our registered fitters have to act in a professional and respectful manner at all times and we demand all services to be of the highest standards.

Requirements

• Experience in installing sheet vinyl with a cap and coved skirting detail.
• Experience in installing Luxury Vinyl products such as Karndean & Amtico.
• Be able to level existing sub floor with a water base/latex screed compound.
• Their own tools, which should include – 110 volts welding gun, hand and power tools.
• Driving license and own van. (If not, should be willing to commute)
• CSCS card is a bonus but not a necessity at present.
