Job summary

National Milk Records (NMR) is seeking self-employed Milk Samplers to cover Melksham, Calne, and Trowbridge areas. You will travel across Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset to collect milk samples from individual cows on farms, supporting the dairy industry with testing and data insights.

The role offers genuine part-time, self-employed work with flexible hours. Experience on farms is a bonus, but training and safety procedures are provided, enabling you to work independently across the countryside.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence & own transport.
• Organised and self-motivated individuals.
• An interest in farm life and dairy production.

Responsibilities

• Visiting dairy farms to collect milk samples
• Organising sample pots in a numerical order to be sent to the Lab
• Working directly with farmers and dairy herds
• Following farm bio-security procedures
• Travelling between farms within the area
