Job summary

Wave Electrical Solutions Ltd. in Newquay, Cornwall, seeks experienced self-employed electrical subcontractors for residential and commercial projects across Cornwall.

You will install, maintain and repair electrical systems, including EV charging, solar PV and battery storage, while representing the company to clients. We require ECS Gold Card and C&G 2391/2394/2395 qualifications with at least five years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• ECS Gold Card or equivalent qualification.
• C&G 2391 or C&G 2394/2395 inspection and testing qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in electrical installations.
• Own van and power tools, with a valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and on-site with clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in line with codes and regulations.
• Perform inspections, testing, and fault finding to ensure safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members on new installations, upgrades, and renovations.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold Wave Electrical Solutions' reputation.
• Keep accurate records of work, time, and notes via in-house software.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to deliver quality service.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency service rota where applicable.
